Requirements:
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
At least 3–5 years of experience in HVAC, plumbing, or industrial systems projects.
Familiarity with international standards and codes such as:
ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, IPC, and IMC.
Proficiency in using engineering software such as:
AutoCAD, Revit, HAP, DuctSizer, PipeSizer, and SolidWorks.
Experience in preparing drawings, calculating loads, and selecting equipment.
Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is preferred.
Membership in a recognized engineering body is preferred.
Responsibilities:
Duties and Responsibilities
Design and prepare working drawings and blueprints for mechanical systems (e. g. , air conditioning, ventilation, drainage, power, fire systems, etc. ).
Review and approve mechanical drawings submitted by contractors or consultants.
Supervise the implementation of mechanical work on-site and ensure compliance with specifications and codes.
Calculate heat loads and select appropriate equipment (e. g. , air conditioners, pumps, networks).
Coordinate with electrical, architectural, and civil engineers to ensure system integration.
Prepare inventory, bill of quantities (BOQ), and technical specifications.
Conduct initial commissioning tests of systems after installation.
Prepare periodic reports on work progress, problems, and solutions.
Supervise periodic and corrective maintenance of mechanical systems after delivery.
Ensure compliance with occupational safety regulations during work execution
